How dictation usually spreads through a company
One person tries a dictation app because typing the same reply forty times a day is grinding. It works, so they keep it. Within a month four other people have their own subscription on their own card, and nobody decided any of it.
- Everyone pays per seat, so the expense line reads as five separate subscriptions rather than one tool that somebody owns.
- History is per machine. Something dictated on a laptop on Tuesday cannot be found from the desktop on Wednesday.
- Everyone teaches the same corrections separately. Your product names, your clients' names and your internal shorthand get fixed by hand, once per person.
- Nobody can answer where the recordings went, because each person agreed to a vendor's terms on their own and no two of them read the same page.

What you can hand out this afternoon for nothing
The app is free, does the work on the person's own computer, and needs no account, so there is nothing to procure and nobody to provision before someone tries it. Windows PCs and Macs with an Apple chip are ready today, and older Intel Macs are not yet.
- No seat count and no word cap. There is no allowance to run out of on a busy Thursday.
- No sign-in, so there is no directory to wire up and no account to close when someone leaves.
- Nothing your team says leaves their computers, so there is no data transfer for anyone to describe or approve.
- Each installation keeps its own word list, so a person can teach it their own spellings today. That list lives on their computer.

What Quickword Pro changes for a group
Quickword Pro is the layer you switch on top of the free app. It is off after installing and each person turns it on themselves. With it on, the history stops being tied to one machine.
- One history that a person's Mac, PC and the Android build all read, instead of three lists that never meet.
- A team-visible setting that lets teammates read one another's dictations. It is off by default, and it is a setting rather than a plan you buy.
- Redo a dictation from the original recording, from any signed-in device, for as long as the recording is kept.
- Each dictation records how it was made, so two results that read differently can be explained rather than argued about.
Team accounts are not self-serve. There is no admin console, no seat billing and no invite screen you can use yourself today, and a shared word list is half built, with nothing in the app able to write to it yet. Early access teams are set up by hand, which is what the form below is for.

What happens to your team's recordings
Worth stating plainly now rather than in a security review later. With syncing off, nothing leaves the machine, so there is nothing to describe. With Quickword Pro switched on, the recording does leave: it goes to our server, comes back as text, is tidied up so it reads properly, and both are saved to that person's account.
- The recording is deleted 14 days after it was made. A job runs every day and removes the ones that have expired.
- The text of a dictation stays in that person's history until they delete it.
- Nothing is used to train anything, because Quickword does not train models.
- The syncing switch is per computer, so a work laptop can stay entirely private while a personal machine syncs.

Team accounts are set up by hand by Formula Won Labs, the agency that makes Quickword, because there is no invite screen you can use yourself yet.
What you enter is stored so your question can be answered and an early access team can be set up. It is not sold, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Can a whole team use Quickword without paying anything?
Yes. The app is free on as many computers as you like, with no account and no word cap. The paid layer is the shared history, and it is not being sold yet.
Is there an admin console or a way to invite my team?
Not yet. Teams and the shared-history setting exist behind the scenes, and there is no invite screen you can use yourself and no admin screen. Early access teams are set up by hand.
Can teammates read one another's dictations?
Only when the team's history is set to team-visible, and it defaults to private. While it is private each person sees their own dictations and nothing else.
Can we share one word list across the team?
Not today. The word list lives on each computer. A shared one is half built, and nothing in the app can write to it yet. Say so on the form if that is the part you need, and it moves up the list.
Where do our recordings go, and how long do they stay?
With syncing off, they never leave the machine. With Quickword Pro on, the recording goes to our server and is kept for 14 days, then deleted by a daily job. The text stays until the person deletes it.
What does it cost for a team?
Nothing today. Team accounts are in early access, no card is collected, and a price will be published on the pricing page before anyone is charged.
